LBC Update: An update from Gayle about Nova's appointment.

Nova’s appointment went well. Much to my dismay, they didn’t do a swallow study, so I don’t know if there was any improvement. We were in a room with a GI doctor, a speech therapist, and an occupational therapist. They watched her eat and were very impressed & optimistic. They said with her quality of life, she is doing absolutely amazing, and they were very impressed with her. Someone will be calling tomorrow to schedule a swallow study. They also addressed her digestive issue and are changing things up to hopefully get her bowels going properly. They are the first to help me with this in two years. All in all, it was a good appointment, even though there was no swallow study.
